Payment Plan Options

Annual: One payment due by July 1st, which includes a 5% discount
-
Semi-Annual: Two payments (July and December)
-
10-Month Plan (August – May)
-
11-Month Plan (July – May): This is the default monthly plan. We are moving toward this option because June payments can be a bit confusing once school has already let out in May, and tend to be harder to collect.
-
12-Month Plan (July – June): If you are currently on a 12-month plan and prefer to keep it, I am more than happy to accommodate that for you, but we prefer to phase out this option.
-
Customized: I can also set up weekly or bi-weekly plans if that better fits your family’s budget.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY TUITION
Fees outside of tuition are referred to as Incidental Fees. Those fees depend on your child's involvement in various activities, including before and after-school care, field trips, fine arts, athletics, and other academic pursuits, as well as expenses related to PSAT, SAT, and graduation.
There are minimal athletic fees per sport that are due before the first game is played. The annual student cap for athletic fees only is: $700.
Elementary School Athletic Fees
- $100 Basketball, Cross Country, Track, and Volleyball
Middle School Athletic Fees
- $300 Football
- $175 Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball
- $150 Cross Country, Golf, Swim, Tennis, Track, and Wrestling
High School Athletic Fees
- $400 Football
- $275 Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball
- $150 Cross Country, Golf, Swim, Tennis, Track, and Wrestling
Additional school expenses would include consumables (or school supplies), uniforms, spirit clothing, lunch, entry fees to sporting events, school pictures, yearbooks, dual-credit classes, etc.
FINANCIAL POLICY
At Weatherford Christian School (WCS), we finalize our commitment to our faculty, staff, and vendors each spring before the academic year begins. These contractual obligations are made based on the trust and financial commitment we receive from our families.
By registering your student, you are confirming a financial commitment to the school for the entire academic year.
Tuition and Fees: Non-Refundable Commitment
General Policy: Tuition is considered a non-refundable commitment.
Exceptions for Prorated Refunds: We understand that life sometimes brings unexpected changes. A prorated tuition refund may be granted only in the following, specific circumstances:
-
Relocation: The student moves a distance that physically prevents them from attending WCS.
-
School Determination: The school determines that the student is unable to meet the academic or developmental demands of WCS, through no fault of the student.
-
Medical Hardship: The student is unable to attend due to a prolonged illness, serious injury, or death.
Please Note: If you qualify under one of these exceptions, tuition will be refunded based on a prorated schedule. Registration fees and special activity fees are non-refundable.
Important Details on Financial Obligations
-
Full Obligation: Whether your student is dismissed, expelled, or withdraws early, the financial commitment remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Tuition is based on an annual contract and will not be prorated for early withdrawal.
-
TEFA Funds: If you are a recipient of the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA), all tuition and fees must be settled in full, regardless of the funding source. Awarded TEFA funds must first be applied to application, registration, and tuition fees before covering any other expenses.
Timely Payment and Access to Records
We require all families to meet their financial obligations in a timely manner, as this supports the uninterrupted operation of our school.
-
Delinquency Policy: If your tuition account is 60 days (two months) overdue, your child cannot attend classes and will need to remain home until the balance is brought current.
-
HOLD on Student Records: To ensure the financial continuity of our school, official student records will not be released until the full financial obligation has been settled. This hold applies to all records necessary for transfer or future educational planning, including cumulative files, transcripts, testing results, and academic recommendations.
-
Addressing Hardship: If you are facing a newly acquired hardship that impacts your ability to make timely payments, please contact the Director of Admissions immediately. We are happy to meet with you to explore a short-term payment plan, but we are unable to extend long-term credit.
Final Settlement: All financial obligations must be completely settled by June 30th of the current school year. Families with outstanding balances will require approval from the Head of School before students may return in the fall. Unsettled balances may ultimately be sent to collections.
CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

Once the Registration Fee is paid, your student is officially enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year, and you are confirming a financial commitment for the entire academic year.

TEXAS EDUCATION FREEDOM ACCOUNTS (TEFA)
The Texas Legislature created the education savings account program in 2025 to give families more choices in their child’s education. The program was then officially named Texas Education Freedom Accounts. Starting in the 2026–27 school year, funds were made available to eligible students accepted into the program that can be used for tuition, tutoring, home-school educational expenses, or other approved education expenses.
We are so excited to partner with this incredible program! You can click here to learn more about the Texas Education Freedom Accounts, sign up for family updates, and review the FAQ section for eligibility requirements.
Families who are interested in applying for the 2027-2028 school year can indicate early interest HERE. This information will be useful as the Texas Legislature contemplates increasing funding for the program.

TUITION ASSISTANCE // FINANCIAL AID
At Weatherford Christian School, we want to partner with our families to make a Christ-centered education accessible. Through the Kaye Pugh 'Partners for Progress' Fund, we are happy to offer needs-based tuition assistance to qualifying families.
Since these funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, we encourage you to apply early! Please note that this assistance applies only to tuition and does not cover one-time or recurring fees.
Because TEFA provides a greater financial benefit, it cannot be combined with our school’s financial aid. If you receive TEFA funds, your school-based aid will be redirected to help other families in need.
