It’s an exciting time to be a Lion as we start the 26-27 school year. From improvements to our facilities, purposefully planned opportunities for athlete growth this summer, and strong additions to the coaching staff, we desire to be intentional with every opportunity we provide to our student-athletes this school year. Our athletic department has chosen Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with very much” as the foundation of our collective pursuits this year.
Our theme is FAITHFUL - emphasizing the importance of being faithful in our efforts, attitude, roles, relationships, and actions which reflect Christ.
We desire for WCS student-athletes and coaches to be faithful in all areas of their lives as an act of worship to the Lord. It is my prayer that the 26-27 school year is a season of growth, a season full of spiritual, mental, and physical victories, and a season of mutual support and encouragement on and off the field. I want to thank you for your willingness to be involved and volunteer, and create an atmosphere that is memorable for our athletes. I pray safety over our athletes, managers, and coaches this year, and I want to thank you for your ongoing support.

As a smaller school advantage, our students have the chance to participate in multiple sports over different seasons. Our student become more versatile athletes, stronger leaders, and well-rounded individuals who learn perseverance, teamwork, and commitment both on and off the field.
