We believe leadership begins with a heart that loves the Lord.
ARISE is our Elementary Chapel Leadership Team, designed to encourage and equip students to use their gifts to serve Christ and others.
Students in 3rd through 5th grade who demonstrate Christ-like character, leadership potential, a love for the Lord, and joy in worship are nominated by their teachers for selection to the ARISE team.
Throughout the year, ARISE members have the privilege of leading our elementary chapel through prayer, praise and worship, Scripture reading, welcoming guests, and other opportunities to serve their school community. More than simply participating in chapel, these students are challenged to grow as servant leaders who point others to Christ through both their words and their actions.
In keeping with the mission of Weatherford Christian School, our prayer is that God will use ARISE to equip students for lives of Christian leadership and service. We desire to see each child deepen their relationship with Jesus, develop confidence in using their gifts, and discover the joy of leading others in worship.
