MISSIONS

‘For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Matthew 25:35-40

Our mission to serve is simple. We follow after Jesus's example to love one another.
At Weatherford Christian School, we believe that serving others is a natural expression of following Jesus. Through meaningful opportunities to serve our local community, our nation, and the world, students learn to put their faith into action with compassion, humility, and purpose.
These mission experiences help students develop Christlike leadership, broaden their understanding of God's heart for people, and discover the joy and responsibility of making a difference in the lives of others. As they serve, they are equipped to become faithful disciples who honor Christ by loving and serving those around them.
Serving others is at the heart of who we are.
We believe a life of service is cultivated through consistent opportunities to love others as Christ did, so serving is woven into the everyday life of our school—not reserved for a single event or season. Our prayer is that when students graduate, serving others isn't simply something they do, but a lifelong reflection of their faith and character.
